Stretch Fabric Masterclass

Join us for our Stretch Fabric Masterclass — a practical, hands-on workshop designed to help you confidently sew with stretch fabrics using either an overlocker or a sewing machine.

Taking place on Sunday 14th June, 9:00am – 2:00pm at North Cornelly Hall, Porthcawl, this class is perfect for beginner dressmakers ready to expand their skills.

You’ll learn essential techniques for working with stretch fabrics, including handling, stitching, and finishing, while creating a wearable garment in a supportive and creative environment.

What’s Included
You can choose from two booking options:
    •    Bring Your Own Stretch Project – £50
Work on your own chosen pattern with guidance and support throughout the session.
    •    Pattern Provided – £65
Choose from a T-shirt or sports leggings pattern, provided by us, and complete your project during the class.

Important Information
    •    Machines are not provided – you must bring your own overlocker or sewing machine.
    •    Please ensure your machine is in good working order before attending.
    •    This class is suitable for beginner dressmakers with basic sewing knowledge.

⚠️ Spaces are limited due to additional room required for machines. Early booking is strongly recommended.

Terms & Conditions
Booking & Payment
    •    Full payment is required at the time of booking to secure your place.
    •    Bookings are non-transferable without prior agreement.
Cancellations & Refunds
    •    Cancellations made 14 days or more before the class will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to another class.
    •    Cancellations made less than 14 days before the class are non-refundable.
    •    If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your place to another person (please notify us in advance).
Class Changes
    •    We reserve the right to reschedule or cancel a class due to unforeseen circumstances.
    •    In the unlikely event of cancellation by us, a full refund or alternative date will be offered.
Equipment Responsibility
    •    Attendees are responsible for bringing their own sewing machine or overlocker.
    •    All equipment is brought and used at your own risk.
    •    We are not responsible for any loss, damage, or malfunction of personal equipment.
Health & Safety
    •    Please follow all safety instructions provided during the class.
    •    We reserve the right to refuse participation if behaviour is deemed unsafe or disruptive.
Skill Level
    •    This class is designed for beginner dressmakers. Basic sewing knowledge is recommended.
Photography & Media
    •    Photos and videos may be taken during classes for promotional purposes.
    •    If you prefer not to be included, please inform us prior to the class.
