EXPERIENCE:

• Level 1 – Advanced Beginner: Suitable for confident sewists who have not attended our bra workshop before. This is a full, intensive day covering complex techniques—please ensure you're comfortable with your sewing machine and happy to work at pace.
• Level 2 – Returning Students: For those who have completed our Level 1 workshop and wish to further refine fit or try a new bra style. Limited kits available; students are encouraged to begin sourcing their own patterns and materials (guidance provided).

Join us for a full-day Bra Workshop at North Cornelly Public Hall, designed to deepen your garment-making skills through the intricate world of lingerie construction. Whether it’s your first time making a bra or you’re returning to refine your fit and style, we’ve got the perfect class for you.

🧷 What’s included:

Level 1:

• Expert tuition and guided step-by-step instruction
• A complete bra kit including fabric, elastics, findings, and underwires
• Use of pressing tools, studio overlockers, and all essential equipment
• Full focus on foundational bra-making techniques, including fitting and construction

Level 2:

• Support and guidance from our experienced instructors
• Option to bring your own bra pattern and materials (preferred)
• Limited basic bra kits available for those wishing to build confidence before sourcing independently
• Focus on fit refinement, strap placement, underwire accuracy, and style variations

🧵 What you’ll learn:

Level 1:

• Understanding bra pattern anatomy
• Construction techniques: cups, cradles, elastics, and underwires
• How to work with stretch materials and specialist notions
• Basic bra fitting principles

Level 2:

• Improving fit from your previous bra
• Troubleshooting common issues (cup volume, bridge width, band length)
• Trying different styles (e.g. balconette, soft cup)
• Adjustments to improve support and comfort

🧺 What to bring:

Level 1:

• Your own sewing machine (must be in good working order)
• All materials provided in your kit

Level 2:

• Your machine
• Either your own bra pattern, notions, and fabric, OR
• Select the ticket with basic bra kit included (limited availability)
• Your previous bra/toile if available

Terms & Conditions

• Payment & booking: Full payment required at time of booking. Refunds available only if we can refill your space with at least 10 days' notice.
• Workshop cancellation: If we cancel, we will offer a full refund or reschedule. Travel and accommodation are not refundable.
• Kit terms: Level 1 kits are included and prepared to order. Level 2 kits are limited and non-exchangeable once reserved.
• Minimum age: 16+
• Equipment: All machines, pressing tools, and haberdashery supplies available on-site. You're welcome to bring your own.
• Accessibility: The venue is wheelchair accessible and has ample free parking.
• Privacy & allergies: Let us know of any requirements in advance. Data handled in line with GDPR.
• Liability: Participation is at your own risk. We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal property or injury during the session.
